Dr. Daniel J. Morrison, DDS

Dr. Morrison calls the Midwest and High Plains home. He was raised in South Dakota and attended South Dakota State University. After graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1994 he returned to South Dakota to practice dentistry in Platte, Lake Andes, Rapid City, and Pierre for fifteen years. In 2009, Dr. Morrison chose to build his own practice in Gillette, Wyoming, because of the progressive business community in Gillette and educational opportunities for his family. As a member of both the Wyoming and South Dakota Dental Associations, Dr. Morrison actively promotes professional development for himself and his staff. He was instrumental in developing the Ronal McDonald Children’s Dental Care Bus in South Dakota and has been a dental standards monitor for Delta Dental of South Dakota. Dr. Morrison is active in wildlife conservation and habitat development, especially through the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. He enjoys hunting and fishing and is sharing his love of the outdoors with his wife Beth and sons Brant and Zane.
Beth is at home in the Western High Plains. Raised in South Dakota, she chose Montana State University in Bozeman for a degree in health, education, and human development. Career opportunities led her to Arizona, California, Chicago, and finally back to Rapid City. She married Dr. Dan Morrison in 2003 and trader her private catering business for motherhood. Moving to Gillette, Wyoming in 2009, Beth joined Dan in building his dental practice as his office manager. She encourages personal development in her staff and promotes family care dentistry. Beth serves on a special community development committee and is active in Campbell County’s chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. She also volunteers a great deal of her time and talken to her children’s school-parent association.
Amanda Lacek, DA
Amanda has been with Gillette Dental since Dr Morrison purchased the practice in 2009. After graduating high school in Libby, Montana she moved to Sheridan , WY to take a job as a dental assistant where she became a Certified Dental Assistant . She has two children with her husband John , who is a retired welder. Their oldest daughter, Brittney graduated from St Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas in spring of 2017 in the Biomedical Engineering field and playing soccer. She is pursuing her career. Christina, their youngest daughter is active with many extracurricular activities at Campbell County High School including Student Council and also plays soccer for the Camels. She will be graduating in the spring of 2018 and then plans on pursing a nursing career. In her time away from work she enjoys watching both daughters play soccer, reading, and just spending time with her family.

Angie Marrs, RDH
Angie is a Colorado Native who moved to Gillette in 2012. Her interest in dentistry began when she was in the 8th grade. During the summer Angie worked at Dr. Kimm Suter’s dental office in Sterling, Colorado; shadowing and then later trained as an assistant. Angie graduated from Sheridan College in 2008 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene. While earning her Associate Degree she also earned a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene through the University of Wyoming.
Angie loves getting to know all her patients and assists them in achieving optimum dental health. Matt and Angie have two children, Kya and Cash. In their free time they love to spend time with each other and with their families. They also like to travel, go four wheeling, watch movies, being outdoors and having dance parties while cooking dinner.
